What you’ll need: Lemon slices, two different flower types that contrast in color, a knife for trimming flowers, and a low, square vase.
Line the vase with the lemon slices. Start with the bottom, then place slices on each side of the vase. **If you want to use a different shaped vase that is taller or has more curvature, place a water glass or smaller vase within the larger vase to hold the lemons in place. I found this tutorial very informative.
Add water and begin adding in the flowers, using the knife to cut at the stems (cut at an angle!) to fit the blooms in the vase at the desired height.
Ta-Dah! So. Easy.
Try swapping out oranges for lemons, or even alternate the two for an extra zing in your centerpiece!
